  • According to MOF, those who have not yet enrolled will receive notification by the end of August 2024 through the Singpass app, SMS, or hardcopy letters delivered to their NRIC address if they do not have the Singpass app or a registered mobile number.
  • For people who have connected their NRIC to PayNow, the MOF stated that PayNow has become the principal method of payment since 2021.
  • If a Singaporean has an account with one of the 12 participating banks, MOF said it invites them to link their NRIC to PayNow by July 22. In early August, they will be able to obtain their 2024 GSTV by doing this.
  • On August 22, users of GovCash, which has taken the place of checks as a payment method, can withdraw their funds at any OCBC ATM on the island. Withdrawals do not require an OCBC bank account.
